The Lettering is HORRIBLE

Haha. So last Wednesday was my critique for my design drawing 2 class. I don't know why I did it, because he didn't tell us to, but I put my failed attempt at lettering and call outs onto my sketches. I shouldn't have done that, as the whole class and I got a 30 min lecture on why it is important to letter well. It's ok, I loved the advice, I just wish the instructor would have given me more feedback on how to sketch the values better on the hairdryers.

Anyways, here are some sketch foam models of the handle piece of my flashlight project in form development. I tried to stay with my same design direction while varying the model slightly for ergonomics. I did this with each of the foam models by going around and surveying different people to see which "felt" better in their hand. Smaller hands like my girlfriend tended to like the thinner handles, while larger hands favored thicker ended handles.
